ECIT in Iceland has launched a new service in partnership with Primis that gives companies the opportunity to get their invoices paid immediately – in a simple, electronic and flexible way. The service is part of ECIT's strategy to offer solutions that support our customers' daily operations and improve liquidity management with modern technology.
Customers using ECIT invoicing in Iceland (formerly Nota.is) can now check the financing option when creating an invoice – and the invoice is then automatically sent for financing at Primis. The funds are received immediately after the offer has been accepted – no paperwork, no delays.
How does this work?
- You will gain access to the Primis service website.
- Select the invoices you want to get paid immediately.
- You will receive a price quote in Icelandic krónur the same day.
- You accept the offer and receive payment immediately.
- When the payer pays the invoice, an automatic settlement goes through the system.
Why should I use this service?
- You get the money immediately – without waiting for the due date.
- You can take advantage of temporary discount terms or deal with sudden expenses.
- No need for additional collateral or insurance.
- All services are carried out electronically and without manual work.
- No monthly fees – just a fixed fee for each financing.
Cost and terms
The fee is usually between 2–5% depending on the duration of the financing and the result of the automated risk assessment. There are no fixed costs or additional fees. The customer always receives an offer in fixed krónur that he accepts before payment is made.
Operational flexibility
If an invoice is not paid on its due date, Primis continues to finance it on the same terms. The customer can also pay in full or submit new invoices in lieu at any time.
ECIT is constantly working to improve its services and provide solutions that support the operations of Icelandic companies. The partnership with Primis is a step in that direction and we encourage anyone interested to contact an ECIT consultant to get started or to receive more information.
